hebben airconditioning. Selva Verde Lodge beschikt over 40 &#8220;Sarapiqui&#8221; of standaard kamers: georganiseerd in verschillende groepen van 4 of 8 eenheden. Het zijn allemaal houten kamers gebouwd op palen die mooi ge\u00efntegreerd zijn in het regenwoud met eigen badkamer en veranda met hangmat. De Sarapiqui-kamers liggen op ongeveer 2 &#8211; 5 minuten lopen van de receptie en het restaurant. Daarnaast zijn er 7 bungalows die iets verder weg liggen aan de rand van het regenwoud op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van de receptie en het restaurant. Selva Verde Lodge heeft een mooi zwembad, een goed gevulde bar, een buffetrestaurant en een Italiaans \u00e0-la-carte restaurant, vogel feeders en verschillende wandelpaden. Vogels spotten in Selva Verde Lodge kan heel productief en misschien zelfs een beetje overweldigend zijn. Over het algemeen zijn de vroege ochtend rond 5:30 &#8211; 6:00 uur tot 8:30 &#8211; 9:00 uur en de late namiddag rond 15:00 &#8211; 17:30 uur het meest actief qua vogelactiviteit, wanneer de temperaturen wat koeler zijn. Ook elk moment na regen is een zeer productieve tijd om vogels te kijken. Hun luidruchtige roep maakt hun aanwezigheid opvallend.  <\/li><li><strong>White-collared Manakin: <\/strong>dit aantrekkelijke kleurrijke vogeltje komt veel voor in de dichtere delen van het regenwoud, waar mannetjes leks vormen door tussen kleine takjes te springen en met hun vleugels te slaan.  <\/li><li><strong>Snowy Cotinga: <\/strong>de zeldzame Snowy Cotinga is een vogel ter grootte van een duif; de mannetjes zijn sneeuwwit, de vrouwtjes lichtgrijs. Ze zitten meestal hoog in de boomtoppen en zijn daarom niet gemakkelijk te zien.  <\/li><li><strong>Sunbittern: <\/strong>de Sunbittern is een unieke vogel: het is de enige soort in zijn eigen geslacht en familie! Het is geen reiger, geen ibis en geen ral. Het is een Sunbittern (Zonneral).
