kamers en 14 superior kamers verspreid over een mooi groen gebied aan de rand van het regenwoud en omgeven door prachtige en vogelrijke tuinen. Alle kamers hebben airconditioning en een eigen badkamer met warm water. superior kamers zijn ruimer en hebben ook een grotere badkamer. Er is een openluchtrestaurant dat uitkijkt over de mangroves voor de Stille Oceaan, van waaruit het heel goed vogels spotten is. Het restaurant serveert een grote verscheidenheid aan lokale en internationale gerechten en is gespecialiseerd in pizza&#8217;s. Op de lodge kun je gemakkelijk vogels spotten vanuit het restaurant, waar verschillende soorten de feedersfrequenteren, zoals Rufous-naped Wrens, Hoffman&#8217;s Woodpeckers en Streak-backed Orioles. Ook grote groepen kapucijnaapjes komen vaak naar de feeders, waardoor de banaantjes snel opraken&#8230; Regelmatig zie je in de buurt Cinnamon Hummingbirds fourageren op de bloemen van de verbena struiken en heliconias. Ook de toegangsweg naar Cerro Lodge biedt goede vogelmogelijkheden met een aantal interessante soorten uit het tropisch droog bos, zoals Ferruginous Pygmy Owl en Black-headed Trogon. Daarnaast ligt Cerro Lodge op slechts 30 minuten rijden van Parque Nacional Carara en de Tarcoles rivier voor nog veel meer interessante vogelsoorten.
